Ingredients :
Oil : 4 tbsp
Cumin seeds : 1tsp
Bay leaves : 2
Cloves & Black Pepper : 5,6
Black Cardamom : 1
Cinnamon stick : 2 small pcs
Green Cardamom : 3,4
Green Chillies : 3,4 cut in two pcs
Ginger : 1 small pc grated
Onion : 3 diced
Tomato : 8 cutted from the top
Fresh milk cream ( malai) / Cream : 2 tbsp
cashew : 15
Curd : 2tbsp
Red chilli powder : 2 tsp
Degi mirch : 1tsp
turmeric powder : 1/2 tsp
Coriander Powder : 1tsp
Salt : as per taste
Garam masala : 1 tsp
Shahi Paneer Masala : 3 tbsp
Kasoori Methi : 2 tbsp
cotted cheese ( paneer ) : 250 grm cutted into cubes
Water : 1 glass/ as per your requirement
cooking recipe :
Roast all whole spices in a pan , put them aside .
Boil all the tomatoes along with the cashews , let them cool and then peel off the skin of the tomatoes.
Put some oil in the pan and heat it on a medium temperature, now add the diced onion in it and fry them till golden brown. put them aside and let it coll to room temperature.
Blend the curd with a spoon and put it aside.
Pour the fried onions and the whole roasted spices in the mixer and make a fine paste.
Now put all the boiled tomatoes and cashews in the mixer and make a fine paste of it too .
Now a heat the oil and add cumin seeds in it, when it turns brown add onion paste in it and fry it to golden colour. it would be done soon coz we had fried the onions prior.
Now add grated ginger and chillies in it and fry them.
Now add chilli powder, deggi mirch , turmeric powder, coriander powder in it and mix them well .
Simer the gas and add some water to it and cover it with lid until it leaves the oil aside .
Add curd to it and let it roast.
Now add tomato puree we made, garam masala, Shahi Paneer Masala, salt . mix them well and let it roast again.
Now blend the fresh milk cream (malai)/ cream with a spoon and add it to the gravy and cook it for some time.
Add some water to it according to your priority and let it boil .
Add kasoori Methi to the gravy.
Now add cotted cheese ( paneer ) in it and mix them well.
garnish it with coriander leaves.
Your Shahi Paneer Masala is ready to serve. Serve it with Roti ( Chapati) , butter naan or with puri .
